My friend and bandmate Gene Parsons has issues with his hands getting cold. He usually keeps those little chemical hand warmers in his pockets and warms his hands between songs. I thought about it and remembered when my kids had a bearded dragon lizard which required a small heat lamp for basking. Bingo! Gene ordered one and used it on the gig tonight, works great! Inexpensive terrarium heat lamp is adjustable and keeps his hands warm!

This is great! I love seeing people adapt to their individual needs so that they can play these crazy things that we all love - modified bars, unusual copeds, etc.

There's also fingerless gloves which as an added bonus makes palm muting easier (I find) https://a.co/d/adoOmo5

For open fingered gloves, Check Cabela's, Bass Pro Shop, L.L. Bean or any other top line fly fishing stores. They have several different styles of fingerless gloves, For cold weather fishing.
Since my heart attack and the medicines the doctors have me on, My fingers and toes do not take the cold well. I have been looking at them myself.

I would sure like to know what causes this in the first place, since I turned 50 2 years ago, anytime I'm anywhere the temp is below 70 degrees my hands get cold. My body doesn't just my hands. I asked 2 doctors and neither could give me an answer, my labs are perfect.
