Great idea. I never thought to attach something as permanent, but I like the idea.
I've been putting all the little adjusting tools in a little baggy and attach that to one of the cross rods with rubber bands for a few years.
It's important to change the rubber bands now and then because they do rot after a few months in warm climates like here in Saigon.
