I also have a Cloudlifter CL-1 which should be used in conjunction with this mic (not necessary, but it is an active, fixed-gain amplification device designed to “provide 20–25 dB of clean, quiet, extra gain for any passive microphone.”). Great for ribbon and dynamic mics. Requires phantom power.
