A true pillar of the luthier community and an innovator. Sad to learn this news. Rick will be widely missed.

One of the greats. I got to spend some time with him in the early nineties at an ASIA convention in Pennsylvania. Really nice guy and just full of great ideas.

He will be missed.

Turner.. yet another creative, soulful, crafter passes from us into the ether. Scarcely a few like him are left in the world, now near extinction. Guess I should hang on to the T model, pass it to my son, instead of trading away. Rest your weary fingers, Rick; chips will still fly in the quest for the ideals you chased.
