That would be about $500 today. Sounds right. I always wondered about them. Did anyone here buy and build a Mark I pedal steel? _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

That's what I've forgotten to ask. I sounds quite decent. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

I seem to recall seeing one close up somewhere at some point very long ago.... It seemed like a real piece of crap if memory serves correctly, 2 steps below a contact paper maverick.... maybe 3.... _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

I used to hang out at Homespun Music in Kalamazoo when I first started playing. At the time I had a Maverick, I ordered and built a number of these for customers who wanted to get into steel. I remember them being similar to but even cheesier than my Maverick. But a way to get started. _________________ Stop by the Steel Store at: www.markvanallen.com

Puts me in mind of my long-gone '77-ish Fender-branded 3X1 black-contact-paper 'Bud. Thought it was OK, but what did I know then?
Or now, for that matter. Sorry, no pics have survived. |
