55/56 Magnatone Maestro model triple 8 non pedal steel guitar. Excellent condition with beautiful original case. Original parts except for tuners replaced with new nickel plated Kluson reproductions. Very clean Maple and Walnut body. 8 small screw holes on the underside. Original legs in great condition. Original case key. Sounds great! Strung with flat wound strings.
Paul Bigsby was retained as a consultant at Magna for a period to help design standard guitars and he had his hand in the steels as well. My opinion is he redesigned the pick ups and possibly minor body cosmetics. The pups are heavy like Bigsbys
Pots date to late 1954 so my guess is 55 or 56. No badge on front but no nail holes either so it never had one.

Email directly for fastest response or additional images. I’d prefer not to ship it. I’ll meet or deliver within reason. Will ship if necessary at buyer's expense, but its heavy and probably will be expensive. I’ll work with the buyer to help ensure safe delivery.
