Moving LKR on GFI Ultra?

Thinking about moving LKR forward a few inches.
It works fine where it is, but I don't like having to fold it up and out of the way when playing the back neck.
Would this make sense, ergonomically and mechanically?
Any advice on dealing with this issue appreciated.
My idea is to move it roughly to where the x is on the picture.

You can move it where you want. But make sure you can reach it without problem.

I never had a problem on the D-10 Ultra I had (or D-10 Franklin). I could reach all the C6th pedals without moving my leg to the right as you want to do.

Unless there's something different about the GFI, this is common for D10s. I've played at least a dozen different guitars and it's just a matter of pushing the lever aside while repositioning your leg for the C neck.

I never try to fold them up all the way....it'll just ride against the outside of my leg as it is hinged in the other direction. Many D10s have a LKL for the rear neck adjacent to that E9 lever so this becomes necessay. After a while, it's hardly noticeable to me as both are hinged opposite of each other.

Of course if it bothers you you can relocate i as Jack says but it may impair your use of it for the front neck.
