I have a broken arm from patting myself on the back, thanks to all that have posted various fixes for psg problems,my BMI is now playing like it should be.
Dissassembled the whole thing for a complete cleaning including changer, pull rod alignment and placement etc., it is reassemled and tuned up. Aside from the notorious high G# breakage (3 times but fixed) everything went fairly smooth, now I can concentrate on style, and all the other things that go with learning how to play.
If I could pass on some advice it would be to all you other newbies, and that would be "research your problem utilizing the search mode for you problem(s) and listen to what these experts say". They know what they are talking about. I can't begin to name them all but you will get to know them.
My questions should be next to nothing for repairs now, so you pros can get back to enjoying yourselves.
Again thank you ALL and a special thanks to BoB for starting and maintaining this forum. I really enjoy it.
