I am looking for a single Stringmaster 26" scale neck. Can be a stripped husk or complete. Must have the fingerboard. Thanks

Tony

I've got a couple. A husk and one that's built up with later Stringmaster parts. I'm headed out the door for the evening but I'll get some pics for you this weekend.

Tony,

I forgot to pull the stripped neck from storage this weekend but found a picture of it on my hard drive. It is the big thick outer neck from a quad with the fretboard. Somebody painted it black at some point. Looks like I started to sand the paint off but I don't remember how far I got. The pickups etc. in the photo were used on other projects and no longer available. I'm thinking $60 + shipping. For another $15, I'll drill another 3" hole in the bottom so you can install 3 leg sockets, if you want. Let me know if you have any interest and I'll dig it out to send more pictures. I'll also post a link to a 26" scale single neck I built up.

Posts 1,9 and 10 of the thread below show the long scale Stringmaster neck I put later (aftermarket) Stringmaster hardware on. Note that I made it a string through and I used Chinese 8 string humbucker parts for the pickups. I've got close to $400 in this thing and it still needs a proper set of pickups. I should also mention that these pictures are older and I used the original '53 knobs on another guitar (replaced with modern repros). Also replaced my home-made brass 7-string nut with an 8-string I got from Jimmy Hudson. I'll get up to date pics if you have any interest. I'd also be happy to talk to you about your plans and what pitfalls you might encounter, whether you buy from me or not.
