I'm in the greater L.A. area, about half way between L.A. and Riverside. I recently acquired a Fender Custom T8. On the day it arrived, I tried it out, only on the first neck, and everything seemed to work fine. Next day when I tried out the other 2 necks, the selector switch and those pickups worked fine as well, BUT the first neck no longer provided any signal, either when the 3-way selector switch was used or when the "all-on" switch was thrown. I suspect that a connection got broken. I've taken a look at it, but I don't see anything obvious. Beyond very simple VOM measurements, I'm lost when it comes to that kind of thing, and that tangle of wires gives me the frights. So I'm looking to find someone local who can help me out with this. I also think the tone control capacitor may need changing out.

Please get in touch if you'd like to take this on. I don't think it will be much of a challenge for someone experienced in this kind of work.

Thanks much!
