SOLD please close.

Up for sale is this gorgeous 1978 MSA Classic XL D-10. I bought it nine years ago from forum member Garry Pugh, previous listing here.

Flamed maple, BL 705 pickup on the E9 neck, factory SuperSustain pickup on the C6 neck. Serial number 2C5904.

Emmons configuration with a Franklin pedal on 4; see below for the full copedent. Setup done by Mitchell Smithey, so I don't even have to tell you how smooth it plays. I will throw in an extra set of strings for each neck (D'Addario Pro Steels).

Rarely left the house (for better or worse Razz), so still fantastic condition.

Asking $2600. Not looking to ship it at this point.

Weight:
Combined: 80 lbs
Case: 26 lbs
PSG: 54 lbs

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking!

Note: Garry listed it as a 1977, but MSA logs show it as 1978 when I asked them. I suspect he ordered it in 1977 and it was completed in 1978, but have not done any actual investigation.

I saw this guitar at the Dallas show this weekend and it is really in great shape and a beautiful guitar, and a steal at the price. Matt is a great guy to deal with, you can’t go wrong with this beauty.

Crazy - I have its near-identical twin, and I'm less than an hour from its previous owner, Garry. Mine was built Oct '77. It sounds amazing...and looks as good as it sounds.
