I recently acquired a Sierra Session D-10. It was pretty out of whack after I first set it up and checked it out. I'm finally getting close but am unable to get this thing in tune. The main problem now is that once I get the guitar in tune, I then tune the pedals and knee levers. Once I finish that and check my pedals up tuning, everything seems to go either sharp or flat. If I retune the guitar, the pedals are out of tune again and I end up chasing myself over and over again. I must be missing something, I bought the Sierra because I've seen and played a few and they always struck me a really well built guitar.

I've been trying to figure out the changer but it's difficult to see exactly what does what. So far I can tell there is at least one hole per string that raises and one that lowers the strings. Not like anything I've ever seen before. Doesn't look like the changer has anything to do with the tuning. Any suggestions from someone who's had this problem would be appreciated.

---when you are trying to tune a pedal by tightening the nylon tuning nut for more raise or more lower, by the time you get to pitch, the open string is no longer in tune when you release the pedal. So you retune the open string and now the pedal is no longer in tune. So you retune the nylon tuner. Then retune the string.....ever watch a dog chase its tail?

Thanks Lee and Frank. Both links are a great help in de-mystifying this Sierra guitar. Things are starting to fall into place a little better although I still have a long way to go, the information provided will help with that. I guess the long and short of the situation is I bought myself a very time consuming project but hopefully it will all work out in the end. Till then I'll just keep plugging away on it. Once again, Thanks Guys!!!!
