Thank Goodness I’ve got a D-10 Hybrid!! It would sound strange blaming Bruce for my D-I-V-O-R-C-E !! That is the cream of the crop right there!! _________________ St. Blues 1984 "Holy Grail"

Sorry to seem ignorant but what does hybrid mean in this context? I've read Bruce Z's book but I don't recall

Hi Ian - the changer is a hybrid of a all pull guitar and a push pull. -- the primary raises are tuned as per a PP ... there is a row of socket head screws above the nylon tuners on the end plate to accomplish this. EG: string 4 you would tune the F# note on pedal C as per a PP .... E to F you would tune as per a normal All Pull guitar with the nylon tuner ... The primary raise rods have a brass nut on the end of them to distinguish from the secondary raises - which have the normal nylon tuner ! (Confused ? ... hope the pic helps)
