hey! took this in for repair. neck is warped and cracked. round neck, unplayable as a standard guitar, but sounds fine for lap style.
anybody know the model and close to the year its from? were these made with a square neck?

Looks like a 33 or 34 Triolian to me. They sold a Hawaiian model with a raised nut in that timeframe, but I'm not sure if they made a square neck or not. I'd bet that they did.

Yup, Triolian, '34 at the latest. They started making square-neck versions around '33, but prior to that they just shipped a round-neck guitar with a nut extender if you ordered the Hawaiian version. |

Nice old Triolian, im with you, I'd put a high nut on it and leave it. If that neck is badly warped its gonna be hard to make it play regular without some intensive surgery, probably remove the board and straighten/reinforce it, maybe just make a new neck and keep that neck stock? |
