I need nylon tuner nuts. At least 1&1/2 inch long
Preferably unthreaded. Where can you get these? I've found 3/4 and 3/8 but nothing over 1inch. Does anybody have a few they can sell me? |

I'd send Michael an email.
I've gotten nylon tuners from him before.
He shows them to be available in lengths from 1" to 1 1/2" .

Psg parts are out of long nylon tuner nuts. Been out of them for a long time. He doesn't know when he'll get them in. |

Just in case you don't have a solid visualization of his, it is not simple to drill straight through. Not eezy-peezy at all. |

Is aluminum a viable substitute for the nylon? The nylon can be threaded by simply screwing onto the rod, with aluminum you need the correct thread for the rod and I don't know it the rod is standard for all psgs. The other thought is "disimilar metals" and the reaction of steel to aluminum.
Just thinking and asking.

Sam, if you look on the left hand side of the screen you will see the tab for selecting material type. Plastic is an option.
