I am using a Rolls IEM amp that hangs on the leg of my steel. It works great but there is no tone control. Can anybody recommend a single channel headphone amp that has tone controls and doesn't cost a fortune....

Use a mixer...they sound great!

A four channel mini mixer is what I use.
