Hey Y'all, here's my take on Kenny Dorham's 'Blue Bossa'. Played on my Gibson Consolette tuned to C6 like the top 8 strings of a C6 pedal steel with D on top. Seems like a lot of the originators and heroes of the pedal steel started on non-pedal C6 tuning, and I thought it would be advantageous to follow in that same path. Plus this old Gibson is a ton of fun and has some mojo. Still trying to figure out which variation of E9/E13, or other tuning, to put on the other neck.
