Here's a request for Jay Thompson - sorry it took me so long to get to it.
This is a KILLER break by Terry Crisp on Reba McEntire's song "They Asked About You". The video is from a live concert in 1995. Great tone, sustain for days, and that venture above the 12th fret into Hughey-Land screams.
Enjoy! As usual, I can only hope it's close and questions, comments, and corrections are always welcome.
Here it is on youtube - the break starts at 1:16

Thanks Jeff, super job!

If there was ever a question of how a Derby sounds, there you go. As good as any of them, played with the right hands.

Thank you for the nice comments guys. What a great gig that must have been for Terry Crisp to be on the road with Reba in her prime and playing huge crowds. You're right about that Derby, Dick, it steps right out doesn't it?

It sounds good on YouTube… but it sounded GREAT live, I am fortunate to have heard it live, an unforgettable moment. The only better one was hearing Buddy with Ray Price.
