I recently took my volume pedal into a music store to have the pot replaced and they wouldn't work on it and suggested I contact Goodrich.
I did, shipped the pedal Goodrich to have it replaced. It will cost $80 plus shipping. I ordered a Bloomer too, because of the reviews on the forum.
They have a nice roster of quality products. _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5

As a Goodrich dealer, I can sell you a new pot, but I highly suggest, with the OMNI, that you send it back to the factory for replacement.
All the electronics have to be removed in order to replace the pot.
Plus, if you have an early model OMNI, Goodrich will do an update to the cross shaft, making the tension adjustable.
This is really needed as the new pots do not have much resistance to hold your pedal in any position that you remove your foot.
If I can help, drop me an email.

I appreciate all the valuable information from all. I try to do all of my technical work for the sake of just knowing what it may involve. I am pretty handy with hand tools and soldering irons. It seems as though the pedal action just suddenly started sticking(pedal action has become very stiff)causing string to slip. Upon watching the pedal in action, i see the string going up and down and the pot staying place. I can turn the pot with a screwdriver and the volume responds as well but it's stiff....I wanted to know if this pedal used a special pot just for the Omni, or would the standard 500k pot be sufficient? Or do I have another problem.
Respectfully

Dwight,
I don't know how old your pedal is or if you bought it new, but I would surely take Kevin up on his kind offer.
Let him go through the pedal and do "whatever" it takes to make it right, plus the new axle upgrade.
The Goodrich Company stands behind their products and that is getting harder and harder to find these days. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. I used pot cleaner, worked for a few months. Then I tried a couple drops of Tri-Flow....been working smooth for months now with no issues.
