I had a Peavey amp in the early-90s, way before I got into Steel guitar and I can't for the life of me remember what model it was.

I believe it was aimed at steel guitarists and the main distinguishing feature that I remember was that it had a gain section that was labeled STRINGS.

Anyone know what model it could have been (from this tiny bit of info)?

That was it! Thanks!

And yes, it weighed a lot, but I was young and dumb!
