Many years ago I was told that the song "Big Marmoo" had a young man on steel. Who sang it and who was the kid on steel? |

One hot version of BM was Frenchy Burke with Robbie Springfield on steel and Randy Corner on lead guitar. Really amazing playing ! |

John is correct. Robbie was a regular at the Ozark OSGA in Branson MO. for a number of years. He still had the fire in his playing. |

I think I remember being told Robbie was like only 15 years old when they recorded that. J.R. _________________ NOTHING..Sold it all. J.R. Rose |

That record almost made me quit! Couldn't fathom how that solo was played so fast and so clean. I'd never heard of pick blocking/finger blocking at that point, what was that, 1974 or so? _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION
