The preamp out can be used to send to a mixer. It can also be used as a send return just like on the front, from the preamp out to the power amp in. The power amp in only, can be used to power the speaker from another preamp, such as patching two amps together and only wanting to use one set of controls. So to Nashville 400s together you could come out of the preamp out on the back of one and the power amp in on the back of the other and only use one set of front controls and equalizer _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps.
