From the 1995 Southern Steel Guitar Convention Saluda, SC USA
Many have asked for some "unknown" players to be shown. We all know what the pros can do, but there are so many steelers around the world that deserve recognition.
Here is one of my best buddies, Charlie Stephens on his Emmons Twin Neck steel gitar.
Charlie had a very unique approach to steeling.
He even played several times with the Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra.
Charlie tuned every string and pedal straight up 440. Whew
Charles Stephens - Emmons Push-Pull Laquer Body Steel (RIP)
Wayne Smith - Bass
Billy Puckett - Guitar (RIP)
