I'm curious who might have been first to use a 7th string F# to G# raise rather than lowering string 6.

So it looks like Tom Brumley was first to raise 7th string to G# and BTW Buddy Cage pioneered the PF pedal on 5+6 string lowers

Cool! Thanks! Jay Dee has had the 7th string raise at least since 1972 when I first heard him at the Palomino. Maybe he got the idea from Tom Brumley.
