Below is a link to a 5-page Steel Forum thread of mine from 2012. It shows an incredible pedal steel guitar built by a retired engineer named Alex Robeson, who has since passed away. There are lots of pictures in the thread. The guitar was definitely over-engineered, but some of the ideas are very creative. Funny thing is, the builder had never seen a PSG before, only in pictures.
