Hi -

I reached out via their website over the weekend inquiring about a new build, but still haven't heard back.

Are there any tips/tricks in being able to get ahold of Mitsuo?

I have a friend in Japan who may be able to call/translate, but I don't want to bother him if I don't have to.

Thanks!

Communication is not his strong point.

Steve, Not true, in my experience

Anthony, give him a little while (and add a day, cause we're 12 hours off).

Contact him again if it has been a while. Sometimes emails get lost or burried.

I've found him to be very responsive - and he's pretty clear. Considering none of us speak any Japanese...he does pretty darn good.

Contact me if I can answer any questions, I ordered and received a new guitar a few years back. I've also had Mitsuo send me parts a few times.

Same here !

Sure sometimes he can take a few days to answer but it's very understandable. Regarding communication, indeed he's the one speaking a foreign language so goodwill is warranted. It helps to keep phrases short and simple. For my guitar I had specific color scheme in mind, a Photoshop helped to lot to make it easily understandable.

All in all a great ordering experience.

Sometimes he takes a while. And keeping your English simple is a good idea.

I often wonder whether anyone else there speaks it, and indeed whether anyone is poised to take over in the long term. He must be in his 80s by now.
