Wondering about the small holes at the edge of the cone. Is the speaker doomed? Can/should the holes be repaired?

Hard to see the holes from the back, I’m guessing the screw studs poked pin holes through on a mounting attempt ? ( yeah, I did it ).
The repair, if even needed, is easy. Do a YouTube search, or even a forum search , and you’ll find it’s an easy fix, if it’s even needed at all.
They look like pinholes from the back, really need to see the front. Sometimes a perforation will leave a tiny flap. Smooth it into place and put a spot of glue. Shoo goo and Elmer’s work fine.

If there is no small "flap" to glue together, you can just put a dab of silicone rubber type adhesive on those tiny holes to keep them from getting any bigger .. They are so small they will have no effect on the sound, you just want them stable.. i have done it a million times on holes a lot bigger than those, and never had an issue..

I would use black neoprene or silicone rubber and smear a thin coat on the ribs at the edge of the cone until the holes are filled. If it looks like it needs it, put it on the ribs of the cone all around the edge of the speaker. They also sell bottles of black speaker adhesive online, which is a little thinner than the black neoprene/silicone in the tubes.
