Here's a page from my "Blues for C6th Lap Steel" PDF book on using guide tones for playing blues. "Guide Tones" target the 3rds and 7th of the chords - the key notes for defining the chord quality. You likely wouldn't play a whole solo with these positions but they are a handy tool for your musical quiver. Try them over this backing track with vibrato, tremolo, slides, etc. The chord durations are different than my chart but you'll hear the changes and adjust. (Low to High) C, E, G, A, C, E
