Just to be a stickler, I wouldn't necessarily call that Hindustani style, because "Hindustani" is generally referring to North Indian Classical (differentiating it from southern or Carnatic classical) and this is I think something more in the popular music tradition, either folk or film music (eg Bollywood style), which I don't know much of, but I have seen a lot of players using electric lap steels doing film style music! Hindustani classical is going to be the raga exposition type stuff that Pandit Ravi Shankar and Ustad Vilayat Khan specialized in, and on steel guitar, the major exponents recently would be Debashish Bhattacharya, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, and the recently departed Barun Pal (RIP).
