I came across some nice vids on YT by a band calling itself "Blue Steel" and the steel player is identified as "John Blonde Jovi" which is not only obviously an Alias, it's seemingly legally actionable Very Happy

Will someone please let me know who this person actually is?

That is New Mexico's very interesting, talented, and innovative steel player, John Eichleay. He's a world class good guy, Dad of the year, and founder and co-producer of the quirky and great steel show, the aptly named Steel Guitar Unconvention held in Brooklyn NY. Hes an ex-pat New York pro player living in and loving the land of enchantment..
He has a new band (a trio) in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area called the Chachalacas which are wonderful. All steel all the time...they are great. Their version of "Experiment in terror" is one of my favorites.

Check him and them out...great stuff!!!

PS: I now split my time between NM and CT..Its great!
