First, I decided to move a knee lever. Then with all the nice clean pics I saw of other 6139s, I decided to take the plunge. Lots of fun so far just hoping I don’t end up with extra parts 😅

I got a Pro 1 20 years ago. It was not long before I decided to tear it down for a good cleaning and lube. I took plenty of pictures, made diagrams, labeled everything. I even put index marks on the pull rods so I could put them back as close to their original position as possible. Doing that kept adjustments to a minimum. And, I had a great time. No other hobby, IMHO, beats the Pedal Steel.

Agreed! Pedal steel is full of so many interesting learning opportunities
