Hi
I’m looking for a hard shell case for a 40s-50s BR-6 Gibson lap steel. The original is falling apart. I’m pretty sure Gibson did not make a hard case originally so any advice for a substitute will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

If you wind up getting no response would you consider building one?
Since they are small they are not so formidable.
3/4" pine capped with 1/4" luan top and bottom, then cut in half - lightweight, quick to build.

I keep my old black BR-6 rescue (and many other lap steels) in VISM NCStar 36" gun cases. They offer good protection and are handy to carry. Widely available online for under $30.00.
