I don't know what you mean by "Emmons style" If you are referring to a push/pull, I can see no way of doing this. Your steel appears to be a rack and barrel setup which is totally different from a pp. I suggest you restore it. If properly restored, it will be a desirable vintage steel with excellent sound. |

I think Elizabeth is asking about changing the A, B, C pedals to a standard Emmons pedal set-up.

That makes sense. It looks like she has the parts she needs. I changed an old Sho Bud crossover from Emmons to Day, and had everything I needed. Sorry if I misunderstood your question. If I remember right, someone here on the Forum said they had some after market barrels. |

OK, I'm guessing re: your numbering code:
The first number is the row of holes on the rack with "2" being the row closet to the body (raises) and "1" being the upper row of holes (lowers). The second number is the string activated...So for example "2-5" means the rod goes through the bottom hole for string # 5?
If that's the case, then for the Emmons set-up:
Pedal A: 2-5 and 2-10
Pedal B: 2-3 and 2-6 (which you have)
Pedal C: 2-4 and 2-5 (I don't see a pull rod long enough for 2-4 in your picture)
LKL lever: 2-4 and 2-8
RKR lever: (2 options) 1-4 and 1-8......or 1-2 and 1-9 |
