turned out great. put in some jazz bass style pickups/electronics. naturally to celebrate i chose a tune that im sure all of you know....Winking.

old white guy funky alert! dont try this at home.

i put a piece of foam under the strings at the bridge like some of the old school funk players do in order to keep the notes from running together and tighten up the groove. some electric basses had a mute at the bridge.

As a bass player I love the instrument and you've got better tone than many "regular" bassists I know.

I'd be in interested to hear some legato passages.
