Sure. What sorts of music do you want to learn? There are lots of different instructional materials out there.

Brad, I mostly play country and gospel music. What do you recommend? I am just starting out on the dobro.

Hi, Craig, I have a two-CD audio course for G tuning dobro that might be a big help to you. All about using the number system, scales, patterns and positions to play any kind of music. It will help as well with any other course you get.

See if anyone on the Forum has the Beginners books by Beverly King. Easy to read and easy to follow songs.

After you do the basics in these books, then find some other books/videos to follow along. Find songs you are familiar with first so you get a melody stated.

Thanx,
Jim

Beverly King has been mentioned. Her website is https://www.countryheritagemusic.com/
Contact her. She has a ton of individual tune basic tablatures that I don't see there right now, but I'm sure they're still available.
