For sale is this custom built mid 50s style Esquire. Mostly Fender parts {USA, Japan} Neck is 'C' shaped , lightly flamed, has nicely rolled fretboard edges, bone nut, Nitro lacquer finish. It is .865" at the first fret and .970" at the 12th. Body is painted a beautiful iridescent Gold, similar to the Danny Gatton custom shop Teles. Pick up is a quarter pound type, 6.7k , Alnico 5. Cloth wiring, CTS pots, Switchcraft jack, NOS Cornell-Dublier cap, ect. Perfect like new condition. Plays very smooth and the tone is bright and punchy. Weighs in at just under 7 lbs. Nice pro level custom built instrument.

Nice looking Esquire, and yes, it does remind me of the Tele's that Danny Gatton brought to gigs. What kind of wood is the body made of, and is there a case? Also a pic of the back of the neck would be helpful. Thanks in advance...dan
