I was doing practicing and my Nashvilp400 died . I had a signal going to my pro fex 2. But no power in the amp itself. I don't know what it could be?

Is it actuallly no (AC) power or just no sound output?
If its no power out, plug guitar (or volume pedal) directly to the amp, bypass the Profex or anything else in the chain.
If it works plugged directly in, then its the Profex.
Rotate the volume controls see if that helps.
If no power out (sound) direct, plug a guitar cord between the pre EQ patch OUT and IN. If still no sound, Plug the guitar cord into the Preamp Out and Power Amp IN on the rear panel.
If still no sound (and assuming "power" is OK) there are MOLEX connectors internally to reseat (unplug and plug back in) - obviously with the AC power disconnected.
If still nothing, a trip to a service tech. |

| I have no AC power. I am plugged into power strip. And I have power to the strip and Pro Fex2. But none at the amp Jack. |

| Is there a fuse in the power jack? If there is and it's not blown, plug into the wall. |

| It has a 6 amp fuse, internally. Given the age of a Nashville 400 (minimum of 25 years) I would suspect more than just a blown fuse. |

Could be the power switch.

| There is an internal fuse in the chassis. When my 400 lost power I found that fuse, it was the white ceramic type. I don't remember the amps on it, but, that was the problem. |

| As Jack indicated,and with the age of this amp you could have shorted output transistors or filter caps. These amps are tough and highly serviceable. Seek out a tech or contact Peavey for repair. |

Tommy, I would suggest NOT burying your NV400.
With the exception of a couple of discontinued parts, these amps are still very serviceable and sought after.
Peavey will currently tell you that they are only repairing "in warranty" products, due to labor shortage.
However, if you want to either ship your chassis to Peavey or deliver the amp to the Meridian Service Center, to leave for repair, get in touch with me and I will get it handled for you.
