The latest entry in the Sho-Bud Serial Numbers Sticky thread in "Pedal Steel" shows a guitar with old pickups with twin rows of pole pieces. To the best of my recollection I've never seen these. Is this very unusual or were they more common than I realize?

I think Shot Jackson made those at one point early on?? I have several of those exact bobbins in my parts bin. Not sure exactly the details or time frame, I’m sure Ricky D knows.

Hi Jon,
My old ‘71 Sho~Bud Professional had the same pickups.
They were standard as far as I know. It was purchased new in ‘73 from the Sho~Bud shop in Nashville.

The Professional I had (and every one I remember seeing) from that Era had the pickup with the single row of magnets and tapped coils. I wonder if those were a humbucker option from Sho-Bud.
