I'm having trouble finding the 1.5" tuning nylons for my remington steel. I want to add a pull , and can't seem to locate any. Hoped someone could give me a lead..Thanks.. _________________ mullens RP SD10 ,, hilton pedal, walker goldface w/BW Cabinet. |

There is actually 3 measurements needed when ordering. tuning nuts, If not ordering from the company who built the guitar.
1. Overall length, 2. Depth of hole 3. Rod diameter. |

Most of the nylon tuning nuts that we find today have a center hole but are not threaded.
This way, they will work with "almost" any size pull rod. You have to use your wrench to put them on as you will be cutting threads as you go, but these will not work loose.

Have you tried looking for "standoffs" or "coupling nuts"? Here is a search link that I did on McMaster Carr. There are obviously many different suppliers. This is just to give you ideas.
