I came across this Kenny Burrell-style vamp for guitar on YouTube today and instantly heard it as fitting C6th lap steel. Here's what I came up with. I simplified the riff figure, eliminated the walking bass and simplified the V to I turnaround at there end. Not totally sure about the # of bars and rhythms but it was a "quick and dirty" transcription.
