I do not know many of todays country artists. Riding down the road Friday this song came on Willies Roadhouse. I took a picture so I could remember the singer and the song title. This is what I call real country music. This song was recorded by Leann Womack.

Lee Ann is great, Paul! Randy Beavers was in her road band for quite a while. Here she is on Marty Stuart's TV show back in 2013 doing "You're Still On My Mind". Real nice break by Randy at 1:30.

WEll that is "Honky Tonk" right there with of course Randy Beavers on Steel...awesome....but It must be a joy at that time having Hank Singer on Fiddle....one of the best ever.

Thanks guys. I saw Randy Beavers at the Baxter Springs, Kansas Show a couple months ago. It was mind boggling what he got out of an E9th tuning. Randy is an incredible player and such a kind man. I saw him back in the 1980's at the ISGC in St. Louis and he was great back then. I just happened to hear this song the day after Thanksgiving. I am not very familiar with Leann Womack songs just as I am not familiar with many artists today. However, this song was just hard shell country.

Thank you Larry. I failed to recognize Hank Singer on the video. He is an excellent fiddle player.

John, The one he played at Baxter Springs was a Zumsteel Hybrid. He sounded great and played incredible. I was amazed at what he got out of an E9th tuning. Randy even done a question and answer for the audience on his set.
