These premium pedals donâ€™t have blocks. These pedals come on tthe later Carterâ€™s . These pedals slide in a groove in the pedal board and are locked in. Hope this helps

Ah thanks. The Carter site only has the manuals & guides showing the older style. . . So is the hole for the skinny part of the bushing 1/4" diameter for sure? If it were 3/8" those would work on a lot of steels. . .
