What years did Emmons Guitars use the Pentad pickups with the 5 way switch?

I ordered a LeGrande around '88-89 and it had Pentad pickups. Emmons was also still selling p/p's at the time. When I ordered the guitar, the person on the phone mentioned that it would be the first Pentads that he had ever wound.
