Aloha, my fellow steel guitarists.
I’d like to announce that the first album by the Ukelites is out now. My Clinesmith Frypan is quite prominent on 9 of the 10 songs so I thought it might be interesting for this section too.
It contains 6 original songs and 4 classic incl. „I’m Pau (I’m Through)“ and „Beyond The Reef“, everything in some kind of Hawaiian Swing style.
Available on Spotify, Amazon, iTunes … and on CD
http://www.ukelites.de
I hope you like it.
Here’s a 5 min. movie about the album:

I love this kind of stuff! Very well done, Steffan, and the pro video production is a plus. Swingin'. |

Sounds great! I just looked up The Ukelites on Apple Music in Canada. I couldn’t find it. Will it be available? |

Thanks, Joe, Joe & Joe
@Joe Burke:
it should already be there. I already found it in my iTunes store. Perhaps it takes one more day in Canada? Release was today. Please try again tomorrow, it should definitely be available in Canada. If not please give me a note so I can check this. Thanks! _________________ My YT channel: www.youtube.com/user/madsteffen |

Great Stuff Steffen. I play Ukulele so I was aware of the Ukelites and have checked them out in the past. I was not aware they had a steel player! Listened to the whole album last night on Spotify and really enjoyed it. I much prefer steel guitar in a band context adding its unique blend of tonal colours into the song mix. Excellent and sympathetic playing from you on your Clinesmith. looking forward to hearing more and best of luck with the album! Mike |

Thank you very much, Mike. Yes, I picked up the steel guitar 6 or 7 years ago. There's still a long way to go
edit: oops, just checked my YT channel and realized that my first attempts are 9 years ago already (please don't search for this, it was really bad beginner playing) _________________ My YT channel: www.youtube.com/user/madsteffen |

So weird. I dropped the “The” and put only “Ukelites” and it came up! Sounds really nice! |
