I realize this post is possibly posted under the wrong section, but felt it would be reach a greater number of Steelguitar players. A lot of members probably don’t view the WANT TO BUY.
I’m interested in buying a Mullen Pre- G 2 Formica guitar & If anyone has any information related to this please contact me.
Thanks

Still looking for information about a Mullen Pre-G2 guitar. This was the guitar Mullen made prior to the present G2 guitar.
Any information you might have on one of these guitars would be much appreciated.

That would be the Royal Precision. Mullen still makes them. Go to their website for info on them.

Actually, there was a version of the Royal Precision that had some of the G2 characteristics (wide mount pickup, split tuning in the end of the neck), but all else was standard RP. It was dubbed as the pre G2.

Mike with Mullen said they produced 52 or 53 of these guitars. Roger is exactly correct in that they are the Royal Precision with some of the same features as the G2.
Hopefully someone will read this post & have a clear understanding of this search.
Thanks again for your responses.
