Here's a little demo I made. It's just the amp straight in to GarageBand, through an Apogee Duet 2 interface, miced with an SM57.

I'm selling my Peavey Session 115. This thing is loaded! It's got onboard effects reverb, chorus, delay(with a tap tempo), a separate spring reverb, a boost, two balanced line outs, two power outlets, side handles and can be mounted on a speaker stand (which I don't have but I have a picture of). Comes with a D2F cover that the side handles have been cut out of. I also have the leg controller that you can use to control the effects.
It's really got a ton of tonal options and easy to dial in. Sound like an old school Peavey, but it's lighter and has a lot of great onboard options for live playing and recording. I really like this amp, I just have too much stuff.
Here's some info from the Peavey site:
https://peavey.com/session-115-500-watt-1x15-pedal-steel-guitar-amp/p/03615920
These are $1400.00 new, asking $800.00 plus shipping. I'd prefer to sell local, but I would ship.

That is a great price for this amp, even with the non-factory mods (side handles and stand adapter).
Not sure what is meant by "newer version".
There have only been a few of these made and they are now discontinued, so if you have been looking for a Session 115, here is your chance.
I know that I love mine. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter. |

I just meant newer in that it's not an older Session 400 or 500. It is a great amp, I won't mind keeping it if it doesn't sell. |

This is a great amp. I haven't gigged mine but I sure like it. I'm wondering though---Why the side handles? That amp is feather light. |

It is light! It came to me with the handles on the sides and the stand mount in the bottom (I didn't realize they weren't stock). I do like the side handles for loading up and down stairs and I've used that stand mount a few times and it's really handy. |
