Hi folks:
Re the attached pic of the Eddie Noack album, when I first got it, it sounded like a Dobro. As I listened to it more, I'm not so sure is is. I'm wondering if it's a Dobro effects pedal.
Does anybody have the disk showing any info on it. If it is a real Dobro player, is the person named please.
I don't know how to load an audio track.

This is a really nice record, thanks for bringing it to our attention.
To me it sounds like it could be a roundneck dobro guitar tuned to E tuning and played with a bottleneck slide. Also sounds like the playing is done with a flatpick. Just a hunch.

Nice record. Definitely a real Dobro played in an interesting style. |

Hello guys. First thanks to Dave for posting it on the Forum for me. I'm really impressed with your responses. I wasn't thinking of a Tut Taylor at all, even though I have all his recordings. And Mike, there was something in the music that made me play it over several times. Yet, I wasn't thinking of the disk being recorded back in 70's and no effects pedals at that time. Well, we'll leave it at that. My Dobro is a 70's OMI, but I also have Tom Bradshaw's effects pedal. And some of the notes seemed like the latter!!! Thanks to all.
