Looking to lift my Sho Bud 1". I already have it lifted with spacers and rod extenders but I'd like to get 1" longer legs. I'm posting this to find used, however I would appreciate any info for buying new as well. Thanks!

You say you want 1" longer legs, but don't tell us the length you want or how long your current legs are. Measure from the bottom of the clutch to the shoulder of the thread socket..
How long is a piece of string?

I’m new to this, Chris. I assumed Sho Buds all had a standard length leg from the factory . Mine now is 23” from the points you referenced (shoulder at the threads to top edge of pedal bar). I’d be looking for something 23-1/2 to 24”.

Excellent, Larry, because your solution may be 24 inch legs from a guitar other than Sho-Bud as long as the legs are Atlas legs or DexCo with the same threads. Your inner tube will be compatible with the clutch of the new legs if you don't have a drill.

That kind of thing shouldn’t be an issue, Chris. My father once told me I have more tools than brains. But you lost me. What would need to be drilled?

Maybe I am out of the loop. I have eight or nine sho-buds, as well as a Pre-Sho-Bud, and all of mine have holes through the inner tube accepting a threaded bolt from the pedal rack. These are Sho-Bud. I guess if yours are different you should have noted your Sho-Bud model as well.
My Super Pro II may not have a threaded insert on its pedal rack. I cannot remember. I have not had it out of its case in a decade.

Mine is a 73 or 74 Sho Bud “the Pro III Custom”. It has a wing nut that tightens a square piece of flat-bar against the leg. There is nothing screwed into the leg itself.
