A beautiful song, to remember Tony Browne.
So sad, to hear of his passing.
He was one of my favorite, steelers.
Peace be with you. |

I watched and listened to Tony on you tube a lot. He was a very good player. I was sorry to hear of his passing. _________________ GFI Expo SD10, Nashville 112, Steelers choice Pak-a- seat, Carter vol. pedal, Stage one vol. pedal, Peavey Deltafex. Goodrich volume pedal. |

Wow... Tony will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to the family. Like other posts said, he always helped others including me. I had questions about his sound and would email him and never once a delay in his response. His rendition of Crying Steel Guitar was one song that haunted me to learn it and try to mimicking as close to the way he did it. I might have come close but his sound and style can't be reproduced.

This saddens me very much. I listened to Tony a lot and just could not wait to listen to his next new post. Toney and that ShoBud were a perfect match always sounded great. He will be missed. He was one of my favorite players. _________________ 72 ShoBud 6153 D10, Encore, Nashville 112, Boss Katana, Spark 40, Quilter TT12, GT001, ProFex II,Jackson Pitch changer (Love this bender) |

While I certainly have not forgotten Tony, I HAD forgotten that he passed away last year. Perhaps it's because he left us with so many on-line examples of his fine playing that it seems he is still with us.
Here's the original thread about his passing, in August 2020:
