Hi my name is Henri im new to the forum I came here trying to see if anyone could help me find a used GFI pedal steel for sale. They dont seem to come up on Reverb or ebay often. Im looking for one with 3 floor pedals and 4 knee levers. Also I was wondering if anyone had any advice whether to get a student model or one of the pro models. Im trying to find a steel that i can tour with and set up fast that stays in tune. I have a Fender 400 that sounds great but just isn’t road worthy and im trying to find somthing more reliable and possibly lighter.
Thanks

Henri… Not sure where you are in Cali however get in touch with Jim Palenscar at Steel Guitars of North County. Great guy, wouldn’t steer you wrong and you could try out a few different steels. My advice is go all in, skip the whole student model because buying a steel is not like buying a car… even if you play it a year and want to sell it… you can probably get just about what you paid for it.
